Panorama has invested in GPS Software to identify all the satelites the antennas is communicating with. For GPS antenna to work to its greatest potential it has to recieve signal from as many satelites as possible. This software enables us to see this information easily and quickly.
The 9m tapered anechoic chamber enables Panorama to be able to test all of its GPS antennas. In a wide open space it is often difficult to tell the difference between a bad GPS antenna and a good one. Its in the built-up urban areas with a lot of interfierance that will effect the performance of the antenna.
The antenna plot on the left compare the performance of a Panorama Magnetic Base GPS Antenna [RED] and a cheap alternative [GREEN].
This testing procedure helps us stay ahead of the competition.
