Design
The Covert Shark Fin Antenna is designed specifically for the BMW 5 series, used by the police worldwide. This 380-400MHz TETRA antenna is intended to be a direct replacement for the BMW's existing ‘Shark Fin’ AM/FM unit and fits into its housing, creating a completely undercover panel mount solution.
Unlike other covert solutions, the performance of this antenna is not compromised by its positioning, meaning it has a 360° omni-directional pattern that ensures constant, high quality communications with the vehicle. The ‘SHK’ also has the option of a high gain GPS antenna for applications requiring location tracking.
